IE 6 uses 100% of CPU

IE 6 uses up 100% of my CPU resources when I open up even one Window. And
then all browsing slows down. I get a blank www.winfixer.com window popping
up, and even after checking for spyware, nothing is found. My browsing is
slowed down and even freezes. What can I do?

Winfixer is well-known spyware. You'll find it tough to remove.

Thank you for the reply, but I don't have Symantec's software. I've been
using TrendMicro PC-cilling Internet Security Suite. Good protection till
now. I've been in contact with their support dept., but still no good
resolution.

I have to constantly closed my browser then reopen it to do anything decent
