IE 6 100% CPU

Intermittently, IE 6 (on XP Pro) becomes very slow with
cpu for iexplore.exe running at 70-100% for several
minutes until page completes. Next page does same
thing. Sometimes, IE just pegs at 100% and stops
responding without ever completing page. Problem usually
clears with reboot. With multiple browsers open, one may
experience problem, while previously opened windows are
OK. But all subsequently opened browsers will have
problem until reboot. I have run AdAware with no detected
spyware.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Dave

I've had the same problem. Could not get resolution from
Dell. Loaded Netscape 7.1 and now using that browser. Maybe
Microsoft will wake up and put out a fix. Too many folks
are having this problem for it to be a random problem.
