IE 6 Re-install

i am trying to remove ( & re-install) internet explorer. when i go thru the
control panel's add/remove software & click on IE, i get an error message
saying "invalid INF file". i tried to run the setup from microsoft's
website (ie6setup.exe). midway thru the install i receive the following
message. "the software you are installing has not passed windows logo
testing to verify its compatibility with windows xp. this software will not
be installed." please help

First of all, you don't go to add&remove hard ware& once

you un install it you can't reinstall it w/o reinstalling
Windows

Thank you for the help. I was able to re-install IE. However, I still seem
to have problems. #1 I still get the invalid INF file if I select IE in
add/remove software. #2 cant load any yahoo games. All I get is a blank box.
