IE 6 - Links do NOT work upon Clicking them.

Has anybody experienced the same problem as I have ? and
if so have you come across any solution to this problem?
I have Windows XP with Internet Explorer v6.0 and I have
recently installed MS's latest Service Pack 1 to help
cure this problem but no joy so far.

The problem I have is :- When I click on certain links on
any web site , the screen just freezes .
Nothing happens and I get stuck.

Any help will be very welcome.

Exactly the same problem, apparently Microsoft are looking
at a fix for this but trust me I have tried everything
they have offered and I still cannot get links in email,
or links to open a new windows to work. The new window
opens, the screen freezes and nothing happens.

I have reinstalled internet explorer, changed registry
settings, you name it I have tried it. Alas though it
seems I will be forced to call their helpline to download
a bug fix for this.
