IE 6 keeps shutdown immediately after stared

I'm using Windows XP pro SP2. The IE works fine with "owner" signs on. When
sign on to other user(s), IE 6 keeps shutdown immediately after stared. What
parameters should check?

Thanks,

Hi,
This is almost certainly being caused by a third-party program, BHO,
toolbar, etc. Troubleshoot by disabling third-party programs, toolbars, BHOs
(Browser Helper Object) or other add-ons to IE. Many of these are user
account specific. The guilty party may become obvious at some point.
Look at:
IE> Tools> Manage add-ons.
MSCONFIG> Startup.
Control Panel> Add or remove programs.

* A firewall will probably not be causing this, but turn on the Windows
Firewall, from Control Panel or Security Center, before disabling a
third-party firewall.

Or... malware can affect some, but not all, user accounts.

Thanks for the response. I removed almost all third-party softwares. I made
it worse; now even with "owner" signed on IE will not stay on line. I had to
restore Windows to an earlier date so that I can use IE.

I even reloaded Windows XP Pro...same problem!

I'm going to try to visit some of the web sites [links] you recommended.

Once again, thanks.

Thanks,

Go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
look for ieproxy.dll
Move it to C:\Windows\Sytem32

Now go to Start | Run and Type
regsvr32 ieproxy.dll
and press <Enter>.
Now try launching IE7
