IE 6 Crasjes after closing Acrobat Reader when viewing a PDF web page

Hi,

Recently my IE 6 running on WinXP PRo SP1 started crashing with an
iexplore.exe Application Error:

The instruction at "0x0ac5f45b" referenced memory at "0x00000000". THe
memory could not be read.

This only happens on WinXP but not Win2000. My IE and all Win updates are
installed and up-to-date. IE version is 6.2.2800.1106 on both machines (add
..xpsp2.030422-1633 on WinXP). Adobe Acrobat Reader version is the latest
(6.0.0 5/19/2003).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I experienced the same situation and the only solution I
found was to uninstall the new msn toolbar which had been
installed after I updated MSN Messenger.

Thanks, BJ. That did it. I hope somebody working on MSN will see this and
try and fix the problem.
