IE 6 causes Windows Explorer to crash

G

Glenn Graessle

When I install IE6, I get periodic crashes of Windows
Explorer. Error says that memory at an address can't read
memory at the (same!) address. When I uninstall IE6, a
dialog box with three radio buttons appears. The first is
greyed-out, the second allows me to repair the Windows
config, and the third allows me to revert to the previous
Windows config. Repair does not help, revert causes a re-
boot and the problem goes away.

Any help?
