IE 6 and AOL 9

I've seen several posts with similar problems, but none
with a solution. Can not print from IE 6 or AOL 9. AOL
has been useless. Formatted the computer and started
from scratch. Installed Windows 2000, service pack 3 and
all security patches. Installed IE 6, service pack 1 and
all security patches. Tested printing from IE and it
worked just fine. Installed one application then tested
printing and it worked. Repeated this process for each
application. Finally installed AOL 9 and then printing
stopped working. I am able to print just fine from other
applications and other browsers (Mozilla). The only
information I could get from AOL was that AOL won't print
if IE can't print. Any suggestions? My next thought is
to get rid of AOL and use a different ISP.

From a previous post check it out.

I had a problem not being able to print from either I.E. or Outlook Express,
and if I tried to use Page Setup, I.E. would hang.

The version info in the Help/About was completely gone. I got paid help from
Microsoft,
and the following steps fixed the problem.

First, using Internet Options, delete all cookies, temp files and objects.
This might
fix it for some people.

In my case, I also had to use regsvr32 from the start/run command to
re-register vbscript.dll and jscript.dll.

At the Start/Run applet execute these commands
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll

Then, thank god, everything worked. A frustrated I.E. 6 users.
