Jason Shreeves

Each time I try to launch I.E I get the
message "Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered an
problem and needs to close . We are sorry for the
inconvenience".
When I ask it to show error, it comes up with MSRO32.dll
error.

hey man,

Load your broswer up, Don't hit close on the box. Move
the box out of your way. Go to Tools in the top bar, then
click internet options. Then click the advanced tab.
Under browsing there is a box called
"Enable third party browser extensions(requires a restart)"
uncheck this box, then restart Ie.
This worked for me.
Your welcome

It sounds like you have a load of spyware on your PC.
Download a spyware removal utility such as Ad-Aware,
install and run it. Once you have cleaned up the spyware,
IE should run fine. Since you can't load IE, you will need
to download the software and save it to disk or cd then
install it on your infected PC. If you have Netscape on
the same PC, you can use that to download the software and
run it. Ad-Aware can be found on any of the common dowload
sites, such as www.tucows.com, www.cnet.com or at
www.lavasoft.com. Good Luck.

Jason,

To test with: Disable third-party browser extensions in Internet Explorer
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
5. Restart Internet Explorer.
