IE 6.0.2.2800.1106 crash very often -> ntdll.dll 5.1.2600.1106

My new notebook with XP professional has had serious IE problems from
day 0 onwards: it crashes after some minutes while browsing with the
same error message suggesting ntdll.dll is the cause. The IT guys at
my office are baffled/ clueless. They put a standard image on all new
notebooks and this problem comes apparently comes with it.

I allready turned off the Enable 3rd party browser extensions: problem
remains

It looks as if more people on this list have experienced this problem.
Please tell me the solution, if there is one...

Thanks for your reaction. I do not think it is a virus, as I have an
up to date virus killer active (Norman Virus Control). I did a scan
just now for that virus and my disks are clean.

I also ran Spybot and it reported no Adware etc.

Still clueless, Bernhard
