{IDS_ON_DEMAND_SCAN}

I am a novice computer and Windows user. When I right click on the start
button I get {IDS_ON_DEMAND_SCAN} as one of the menu items. When I double
click this item, nothing happens. What is it? Can I remove it? I am using
Windows XP, ZoneAlarm 6.5 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0. Thanks in advance
for your help.

Wesley, Thanks for the info. I had failed to mention I had uninstalled
McAfee Virus Scan before installing Kaspersky. I found a program, JV16 Power
Tools, that located all the registry entries for McAfee, allowed me to make a
backup, then I deleted all the McAfee entries. No more IDS_On_DEMAND_SCAN
context menu item. Thanks again, Richard
