ICS sharing computer keeps dialling.

I keep having a problem after setting up ICS between two machines (Both with XP and both using Win 2000 - same problem). Everytime I start the machine which is using the others internet connection it dials the internet. Also whilst just using the computer it keeps dialling the internet when it feels like it. I have even disabled the automatic windows update in XP and it still dials the other computers modem when the computer is first turned on. How can I set ICS so it only dials when I want it to?

Any help greatfully appreciated.

In IE, tools, Internet Options, connection tab, tick "never dial a connection".

Thanks for the feedback, but I think I have already done this because the wizard set it this way. If never dial a connection is not set it tends to search for its own modem to dial. I will check that I have done this and get back to the forum.

Thanks
