ICS on a networked computer connected through USB to a DSL Modem

At a friends' office they have 5 computers all connected through a hub
to share stuff and have access to a database on one of the computers.
One of them has recently received a DSL modem, and since no ethernet
port was available (it was already connected to the hub) they used a
USB port to connect the modem. It works fine, but they are wondering if
it is possible to use ICS to allow internet access to the rest of the
networked computers. Is this possible through the USB port? Do they
need another ethernet card to be able to work this out? Any help is
appreciated.

Yes, it will work fine. They do not need another ethernet card on the
machine that will be used for the shared connection (beyond the one
already in the machine for connection to the hub, that is.)
