ICS issue

I am setting up a 2 computer crossover cable LAN for a friend.

The computer that will be the ICS host has DSL internet through a DSL Modem,
connected to a USB port.

The network will connect on NICS on both PCs.

Can I use the ICS wizard to share the USB DSL internet connection?

Yes.
I have exactly the same set-up.

However, makesure that if you have any 3rd party firewall software, eg:-
ZoneAlarm etc, uninstall it, not just disabled, until you have set-up your
network.

You will need a firewall on both PC's to prevent outgoing messages as well
as anti-virus software on both, as the host PC just allows internet traffic
thru to the client, it's own firewall or anti-virus software will not screen
material meant for the client pc.
