icons appear as black boxes

A few of my Windows 2000 Terminal Server clients have had
a weird thing happen recently. Occasionally, not always,
when they log into their Terminal Session, all the
desktop icons and application icons appear as black boxes.
Any ideas?

I've seen this happen before, ans most people have
reported that updating the client video drivers seem to
help the most. Also, try to change the color palette of
the client from high color to a lower color resolution.
Either of those may help.
