I don`t want to sound stupid, but in the taskbar I have the "sync center"
icon and I cannot get rid of it.
I have look in msconfig to remove it, it`s not their.
I have right clicked it to stop all sync and also deleted all off line files
& folders, but still this icon will not go, any ideas please.

Taskbar or Notification Area? Right click the Taskbar > Properties >
Customize > click in the list box beside the application and choose Hide.

I dont want to hide the task bar, I wish to remove the one icon.

You have not made yourself clear, is it the actual Taskbar or the
Notification Area? People tend to confuse the Notification Area with the
Taskbar, the WMDC only appears in the Notification Area.

Hi Andre,

Let try and expalin again.

In the system tray in the bottom right hand corner of the screen I have an
icon for "sync center" that I wish to get rid of, if you right click on it
you cannot exit from.

Regards

Ray
