Icon text wrapping problem

B

Bill McCartney

For some reason, when I cranked up the puter today, the Desktop Icon
text is no longer wrapping as it has for years now. It spreads into the
text of the Icons on either side.
Win XP pro
I386 Intel
How do I reset this feature?
Thanks,

Suggestions:
-Display Properties> Appearance> Item: Icon Spacing (horizontal): Check
space allowed. I see "43" here as the default setting.
-Select a different theme. Apply. Then re-select and apply your preferred
theme.

PS: Some tweaking programs address the handling of icon labels. If you have
any of those programs installed, check their settings.

Thanks Sharon,
I have two tweaking progs but nither had an option for the text wrap. I
did download an Icon prog that fixed the problem "ActivIcon".

You're welcome and I'm glad to hear that you were able to find a way to fix
this problem.
