I would like jpeg not bitmap save

I have seen this before a long time ago and now I have
the problem and cannot fix it. When I save an image from
the internet- no matter what the suffix is i.e. jpeg,
bitmap, gif, etc, the only option I have to save is
Bitmap. How can I change this?

Delete your temporary internet files, that will clear the problem.

Go to Internet Options, and in the middle of the front page , Temp
Internet FIles, click 'delete files. Then click Settings and reduce the
amount of space allowed to something reasonable - I suggest 50MB should
be plenty. The problem arises when there gets to be so much in there
that the indexes overload
