I want to install a shared fax/modem on my network

Gerry Voras

Right now, the real estate office I work for has a standard fax machine.
People needing to fax print out a copy of their work, run downstairs, stick
the document in the fax tray, and dial the number.

What I would like to do is instead set up a print queue somewhere on the
network that allows me to click "print" in the application, and a dialing
dialog appears on the screen. The user would then enter the number and the
print job would be sent to the fax/modem for handling.

Any ideas on how to do that, or product recommendations?

SBS 2000, Windows server 2003 and SBS 2003 supports networking faxing
(similar to network printers), wherein printing a document to the fax
printer (from any of these servers) will a open fax send wizard and will fax
to the given number.
