I want to import a record from access to oulook 2007 Tasks.

Ok, I thought I would be able to edit my initial question.

Anyway. here is what I meant.

How do I import a record from Access 07 to Outlook 2007 as a task
We just deployed Office 2007. We use a HEAT on MSSQL DB for service calls
that come in

Currently I use ODBC connection to import to Access to generate various
reports.

Ulimately I would like to populate Outlook tasks from the SQL DB.

Outlook can import from Access 97-2003 formatted databases. To start the
import choose File-> Import and Export
During the wizard it will allow you to map Task fields to Access fields.

As an alternative you can opt to export to another file format first which
Outlook can import like *.csv
