I think my motherboard blew up.

This weekend my computer froze up. I couldn't even stop the computer with
the start button. I ended up having to unplug the computer. When I try to
start it now, I only get beeping noises. Nothing is loaded, no bios, no safe
mode nothing but noises from the speakers. The computer was fairly clean on
the inside but when I took of the cover on the front that was very dirty.
I am getting the impression from reading these help files that it might be
the motherboard fried on me. If that is correct, what do I do now? Just get
a new motherboard and plug it in?

Thanks
Kevin

You need to look up the "beep codes" for your brand of motherboard. It is
beeping in some type of pattern that will tell you what's wrong with it.
