Intsall the software, from the CD or internet download file: however during the installation process you may have the option to do a full system scan prior to starting the actual installation of files etc on your PC
Some Virus may cause problems if you attempty to install any software, thus it is recommended to scan before you install.
Hi, I'm sure someone can help, but please give a little more information.
First of all, what makes you think you have a virus?
Second, do you have any anti-virus software installed on your PC?
If you don't, here is a fairly good on-line virus scanner that will help
make sure you are infected: http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/
If you can give some more information(ideally the name of the virus that has
infected your PC) then someone should be able to help you.
Cheers,
ChrisM

Hello
Update your virus definitions and do a virus scan.
If you find a virus quarantine it disable your system restore.
Right Click My Computer>Properties>System Restore>check the box
This will remove your system restore points and the virus from within them.
Do another virus scan and delete it and the quarantined ones.
Here are some free scanners to double check your current one. http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/Scanners.htm

Hope This Helps

Perform an online virus scan at any of these sites, write down the
name of the viruses found and follow the advice (if any) of the site
to get rid of the virus:
