My xp keeps restarting

i turn on my pc and it load to the desktop on the desktop it has somrthing
about a virus and needed to update virus scan but then before i can do
anything like in matter of 5 to 15 seconds it restarts and it wont let me do
anything? please someone help me i think there might be a virus or something
on my other computer?

my suggestion is to
a) boot into safemode
then b) configure your
system to boot clean.

then try to boot normally again.
