I.P. ADDRESSES

Hi

My laptop 'crashed' and so I have had re-install Windows
XP and Ms Office. This has been fine but I now cannot
connect to the internet. Everytime I try I keep getting
a message that it cannot find my I.P. address. Can you
tell me how to go about finding the I.P. address on a
laptop.

Hi Sheron
click on start and then run and type cmd

in the black screen then type ipconfig

This will let us determine if you do have an ip set for the computer. If so
try again as it may have just been assigned. If this does not work you
might have to reset the TCP/IP stack.
