Yes, I just wanted to ask a question. You see, I recently
purchased Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade Edition. When I
installed it, everything went perfectly, except for the
fact that I could'nt get online. Everytime I tried to get
online my computer would get really slow and freeze at
times. My computer is "XP ready" it even has the sticker
that says so. I have a 56k fax modem and an Ethernet
adapter 10/100 so I know I get get online. I went back to
Windows ME to get online and write to ask whats wrong. I
need to know whats wrong with Windows XP so I can fix it
and start using it again. I used it for a while whitout
the internet but I can't Activate it. I want to get online
so I can activate it. While I was installing Windows XP,
during the part of the installation it said something was
wrong with the wvm mini port internet adapter wouldnt work
when I finished installing Windows XP. So I need to know
if i can fix it somehow, or buy one or do something
because I really want to use Windows XP.
If you could help me I would really appreciate it.
