I need Help asp

I have vista system, and i having problems with my Excel 2007 fails to
locate my
excel files!.
The message goes: "The file C:\user\myname\documents and setting and etc
etc... cannot be found.
Please check that you have given the right name and try again.
This happens wether i try to open directly from My Documents or from a
shortcut in my desktop.

This error only happens with Excel, not the other Office programs. I am
running on Vista ultimate.
I don't want to reinstall the whole Office package again from the CD.

Hi,

Does this happen when you open the file from inside Excel? It is always
better practice to open files from inside the application. In this case it
is probably a file association issue which you can solve using the steps
found here:
