I miss MsOffice tools

When I got my new Dell PC, it came installed with editors
like Quattro Pro and such, and I now have problems using
my .doc and .xls files. Does anyone know if there is a
way to get MSOffice (MSWord, Excel, etc.) installed on my
PC, if it is compatible with XP, without having to buy it?

You must purchase and install Microsoft Office if you wish to
have the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. There are no free
downloads of Microsoft Office.

Ready to start using it? Whether you want to obtain a Microsoft
Office 2003 Edition or a stand-alone program or server, use this
page to find information for Microsoft Office System products-
including prices and upgrade eligibility.

You can burglarize Office Depot.

That does not involve buying.

We must buy the computer, monitor, printer, scanner and modem, then pay for
the electricity to run the stupid thing. Now you tell us that we have to buy
all the software that we need to run this mess???

If I had known that I would have bought a new car instead <bfg>
