I lost my "favorites"

The problems keep coming...
I recently reinstalled my system after a crash...my
browser had all of my favorites working but now they have
disappeared. Where do browser favorites get saved? Is
there a way to get these back?

Look in local drive (usually C, documents & settings,
yur username. there will be a favorites folder.
reinstalling your system wiped out the contents. If you
have a backup you can restore them.

What is your operating system? With some Favorites are located in
c:\windows\favorites, with others it's c:\documents and settings\your
name\favorites.

I'd suggest that you use Search to look for them. Be sure to designate
advanced settings for subfolders and hidden folders. If your Favorites
are now designated as hidden, right-click and clear that attribution.
