I lose access to all my programs!?!

Every morning, after leaving the PC on overnight, when I try to open Outlook,
Excel, IE 7, etc.. I get an error message stating the path can not be found
and I may not have permissions. I am not able to pull up Task Manager either
- no error message just does not show up when I choose it. I reboot and it is
fine. I have ZoneAlarm Security Suite and run updates all the time and have
scanned for both Virus and Spyware. I also have checked the PC with Uniblue's
SpyEraser. My PC is only 8 months old - Gateway 6400 2.13 duel core 2 gigs of
RAM and two 250 gig hard drives.

This NEVER happens during the day when we accesss the PC on a regular basis.

Tried disabling Standby (and/or Hibernate)? Just use the "turn of after xxx" functions. Does that help?

The only message I see occurring that may do it is:
"Product: Roxio Media Experience -- Error 1706. An installation package for
the product Roxio Media Experience cannot be found. Try the installation
again using a valid copy of the installation package 'Roxio Easy Media
Creator 9 Suite.msi'."

I also 19 yes 19 Warnings from 7:12:09 AM to 7:14:23 AM stating the same
basic message:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MsiInstaller
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1004
Date: 8/22/2007
Time: 7:14:23 AM
User: YOUNG\Owner
Computer: YOUNG
Description:
Detection of product '{AC0EE5B0-A8FB-4D0A-AF03-2EDC518F841B}', feature
'SoleFeature', component '{71264A65-7637-11D5-8B40-00105A9846E9}' failed.
The resource 'C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\dwusplay.dll' does not
exist.

I am uninstalling everything ROXIO to see if that was the issue - I
usually don't log on until about 7:30 am so the timing is right and it
happened this morning and yesterday morning at the same time....
