Hi,
I inserted my new SANDISK Mini-Cruzer USB plug-in drive and it would
not work. The instructions for the unit said that it does not need any
XP drivers! Somehow, and I can't recall exactly how I did it, I
deleted all files on the Cruzer which appeared to be only security
files anyway...the drive was now blank! And it worked beautifully; I
have it loaded with goodies now.
BUT, another dopey mystery! If left in the PC while booting, WIN XP
home will not boot. As soon as I see a black screen staring at me for
two or three minutes, I realize what's happening and I pull the drive.
Bingo..WIN XP boots.
What's worse, unpredictable and wacko in-laws or the Sandisk Mini
Cruzer? At least I can get asolution from this venue!!
ThanXXXXX
