Hi, i have managed to somehow get rid of the little green msn icon at the
bottom right of my screen. It appears when i log into msn, but then when i
sign out or turn the computer off it goes away again?

How do i get it back permanantley so its next to the other icons like the
LAN and volume symbols etc?

Any help appreciated! thanks!

Open MSN Messenger. Tools/Options/Preferences. Tick Run Windows Messenger
when Windows starts and Allow Windows Messenger to run in the background. OK
your way out. Reboot.

Annoying icons in the system tray are generally had by setting the app
to start when windows loads up. Check the config for the app in
question.
