Hard to say without more details. Do you get an error message when
you try to send? If so, right-click on your error message, copy, then paste
it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

I too am having the same problem, I have been reading through this since last
night.

I have the stuck email in outbox issue.

running the 32 version. The microsoft fix "doesnt apply to my system"

I have tried to fix it through the mail store folder but with no luck there
as well although that folde is showing empty.

I deleted the account, rebooted and re did the account.

I still have the stuck message but now I also get

Now I still have the stuck message along with an error stating that I have
one or more message in my outbox that does not have a valid account specified.

i managed to get the email deleted using a method you suggested elswhere
Gary.
i lost the page, i was going to post that here.
it involved going to search>advanced search> check box for all non indexed
items and delete the 2 files that pop up from there ( sorry i accidently
closed the window and am unsure where that post was)

no i am getting this message:

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'.
Subject 'khgkh', Account: 'mail.playmonsterpaintball.com', Server:
'smtpout.secureserver.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 Sorry, that
domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

so i went from not being able to send due to a stuck message to not being
able to send because.....?

sorry for the multiple posts.........
but here is the method i found to work for me for getting rid of
stuck message

Close Windows Mail
Click Start > Search > Advanced Search
Location = Everywhere
Place a check in "Include non-indexed, hidden, and system files"
Name = (type) WindowsMail.MSMessageStore

When completed, you should only see 2 instances
Highlight, right-click and select: Delete
Ok any prompts, close Search and restart WinMail.

Try changing the SMTP server port from 25 to 80.
(Note: this only applies to the smtpout.secureserver.net server.)
