This may seem wierd but we had the same problem in reverse (sending but not
receiving) and an hour with isp's tech support was not able to help
....decided it was a vista problem. BUT... I just tonight went to a web page
that asked for feed back, using e-mail to send it, and our e-mail set up
wizard came up and I set up and received e-mail! You might try that. I
happened to go to penguinfoods.com but if you know of another offhand you can
try that.
Good luck!

I'm not Gary, but:

You need to fix the incoming mail server information. Somehow, that data has
been changed to an MSN server. I recommend you locate your email provider's
setup instructions and make sure all settings are correct. However, here are
the fixes I think it takes:

Go to Tools > Accounts, select your account and click Properties. In the
Servers tab, for the "Incoming mail (POP3)", where it now says
"'smtp.email.msn.com', enter "pop3.upcmail.nl" (without the quotes). Now
change the outgoing server to "smtp.upcmail.nl", Then go to the Advanced
tab. Make sure both boxes at top are checked (the ones that say "This server
requires a secure connection (SSL)"), then enter 465 for the top one and 995
for the lower one. If that doesn't work, try unchecking both items.

If some combination of the above does not fix it, then you need to get those
instructions from the provider..

smtp.email.msn.com change it to smtp.upcmail.nl and remove the (') from all the pop
and smtp addresses

Regarding the first (sending) error, why are you attempting to use
an MSN.com server for sending? Why not use the smtp.upcmail.nl server?
For directions, see
http://vragen.upc.nl/app/answers/detail/a_id/169/p/12,13#id169-windowsmail-stap6

Are you sending from a laptop away from home? If not, who is your home
Internet Service provider (ISP)?

Regarding the second (receive) error, why are you using port 995 and SSL?
The directions I referenced above don't reflect use of advanced settings.
Use port 110 without SSL.
