I can't see folders under the root

S

Sinan [XP-Pro]

I have updated my FP2003 with latest components from MS support site. But
now, I can't open a local web in my localhost correctly. It opens (shows)
only the root folder but not the folders nor files under it. Any advice is
much appreciated.

Try clicking the Refresh button on the toolbar.

If that doesn't do it we'll need to clear a registry entry.

Close FrontPage and then run regedit and go here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage
Explorer\Settings
and remove the data that shows for FolderDetailColumns and
FilesDetailColumns
by right clicking each entry, selecting modify and then clearing the data
and
clicking ok.
Close regedit and reopen FrontPage.

If the problem is on your local host try stopping / restarting IIS
- if on a hosted server have the host do the same
