I can't hear anything!!!

Hi! I hope someone could help me with this: I am from Mexico City, I have a
Toshiba Satellite laptop and the audio driver got uninstalled by mistake one
day, and now i can't listen to anything in my computer! not even the sounds
of Windows, and I have been trying to re-install it lots of times with the
recovery CD of the laptop but I still can't, and I have also looked for
something I could download but I haven't found anything. So, please someone
help me, I need to know what I can do.

go to start/run, and type:

msinfo32 /category Components

One of the subfolders will be "Sound Device". You can learn the name of your
sound card device there, and do a Google search for a driver for that device.
