I can't even open outlook

Please help me with this problem. Every sunday I do a de-frag and a disk
clean up. This sunday was no different, but after i completed the above, I
went to click on my Microsoft Office Outlook and it opped up with this error
message:

"Unable to open default email folders. File access is denied. You do not
have the permission required to access the file C:\Documents and
settings......\Outlook.pst."

This has never happened before.

hmmm... why do you defrag so often?? twice a year is enough in most cases!
i guess your pst file got corrupted..
try to fix it with scanpst.exe

Check the read-only flag status.

Make sure your PST file exists there and is readable and writable. If
you still cannot open the PST file with your Outlook, then your
Outlook PST file may be corrupted. You can try Advanced Outlook Repair
to repair the file and correct the problem.
