Erroer opening Outlook 2002

When trying to open Outlook 2002, I get the following message:

Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. File Access is denied. You do not have the
permission required to access the file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

There is only one user on this machine. The user has Administrator
privileges. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Was this PST on a CD or other external device and copied to this PC? Remove
the read only attribute.
If that's not the case, please post back.

It wasn't transferred from disc or otherwise and was the original .pst. The
read-only was highlighted, however. Unclicking it has seemed to have solved
the problem.

many thanks

If it actually says "owner" in that path, then I daresay the mail profile if
pointing at the wrong path. See if there are any other PSTs on the disk
under the username of the person using the PC.
