I can't delete anything in Outlook - I get "messaging interface" .

All of a sudden I can't delete e-mails, tasks, etc. When I try I get the
assistant popping up saying "the messaging interface has returned an unknown
error. If the problem persists, please retry Outlook." Well, that doesn't
work.

I have even un-installed and re-installed Outlook.

Help, please.

How many items are in your deleted folder? Can you delete them if you hold
Shift as you delete?
