I cant delete a file

I have recently downloaded a movie of the internet. It
was'nt what I was looking for and tried to delete the
file. Unfortunatley, it won't delete. I've highlighted
it, held down shift and dragged it into the recycle bin,
but that doesn't seem to work. There is no normal way of
right clicking and deleting the file that way, as the
function is not there. The only functions available in
the right click menu are: open, print, queue it up, add
to playlist, copy to cd or device, play with media
device, open with and send to...

Does anyone have any suggestions on trying to delete this

right click it, select properties, uncheck the read-only button then try
again
