I can ping a pc in the same domain but cant see it in Explorer

Hi,

I want to access a shared folder on a colleague's pc. The problem is that
although both pcs are currently logged on to the same domain, my colleague
can see my pc in Explorer, but I cannot see his. I know the network name and
ip no. of the other pc and am able to ping it. But this doesn't help me. I
tried entering the network name directly in the Explorer Address field
(format \\pcname\sharedfoldername), but that didn't work either. Any ideas?

Solved. For some reason "file and print sharing" for the network connection
on my colleague's pc had been deactivated.
