unilateral ping

Hi,

I have a home network with N.2 PC (WIN2000 professional, WIN98) linked to
8ports Hub-Switch.

WIN2000 have IP address = 192.168.0.10 ab SM=255.255.255.0
WIN98 have IP address = 192.168.0.11 ab SM=255.255.255.0

Network Resource command show pc name correctly on both PC.

The problem is:

when I ping from WIN98 to WIN2000 It's all OK, but ping from WIN2000 to
WIN98 not work

Oddly, I have create a NetworkUnit from WIN200 to WIN98 and I have correctly
access to WIN98 shared folder.

While I perform above networking test I have shutdown ZoneAlarm firewall.

What's the problem?

funny you have mentioned ZoneAlarm.
Can you uninstall ZoneAlarm (not disable, uninstall) and check if this is
happening again?
