How do I confirm access to file "a"(a word document) via hyperlink without
displaying file "b"(an excel document)?
 
Hi Rich,

Can you be a little more specific on your scenario
and what you're trying to achieve plus list
the version of Office apps you're using?

In Office 97 there was a 'check links' tool but it's
not available in later versions. Clicking on a Hyperlink
in Word is giving instructions to the program to fetch
and show a given item.
