hyperlink tags and transition

I'm hoping someone will know the answer to my powerpoint problem.

I have written the first of many little books to displayed on my IWB.

I have used powerpoint because I can set it up to run automatically. I
haven't had any problem with designing the book with simple animation, sound
effects and me reading the text.

What I'm having problems with is the comprehension questions at the end of
the story. Because of the level of my class I have tried to make everything
simple and automatic. For these questions I have recorded my questions with a
simple picture. There are only two choices 'positional answers' eg where is
the dog - in or next to the box? The students see the dog. They then click on
one of two text boxes - with In and Next written in them. By using the
trigger effects the slide page will wait for an input. If the students select
the wrong box a red cross appears. The slide then waits again. If they click
the correct box a green tick appears.

Now after that long winded explanation - my problem. I want the slide to
wait until the green tick appears before automatically moving onto the next
page. If I tick the 'automatically after so many seconds' the slide does not
wait for any input. As mentioned before I would like to it to be automatic
and so have not ticked 'transition after mouse click'. Is there any way to
make the slide transition automatically after the green tick appears.

I can add a move over hyperlinked next box at the bottom of the page - but I
would like to keep the book as simple as possible with the barest mouse
clicks as possible.

Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would like this to be one of many little books - but need to solve this
problem first.

Thanks

Hi

I'm afraid you can't add transitions to the timeline :-(. Someone else may
know of a workaround or a VBA solution...
