I'm running windows 2000 sp4 on a Gateway 450X laptop. All
of a sudden hybernate and standby aren't available as
shutdown options, just log off, shut down & restart. Can
anyone tell me how to get those back, and why they would
disapear like that.

Thanks,

Nate Weldon.

Hi, Faced similar problem, could get hibernate back by
activating the same through controlpanel/powersettings
option.

But facing a new problem now, pc shuts down but
immediately restarts. ANy inputs?
