Huge amount of data sent out from PC

Hi -
My mom's pc has been acting up when on the internet. She had the blaster
virus, and I spent many hours finally getting it gone. It is virus clean
now, but it still has a major problem When connected it begins sending out
something, and it utilizes 99% of the processor. In 1.5 hours this morning
it sent out nearly 30 megs. It is reading something off the drive (at
least the drive activity light comes on). Any ideas?

Are you running any antivirus software? It definately
sounds like a virus. If you go to trendmico.com, download
the "Sysclean" program and the most recent "virus
definitions". This is freeware and it works great. On the
right hand side of the main page is a list of the top five
viruses, just click on one of those and then scroll down
and you will find links to both the Sysclean and virus
definitions. When you run it, it'll find and delete the
viruses.
