I just downloaded IE7 and thought everything would be fine. But, when i try
to access the internet this site( http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspxe)
comes up instead of my homepage (msn.com) And this message is displayed :

"An HTTP error occurred while getting:
http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx

Details: "connect timed out".

But, when i click on my homepage icon my homepage comes up.(Internet is
working) What can i do to fix this , so it just goes directly to my homepage
again, instead of this error page.

Your computer has lost all of its settings, for some reason. Go through the
wizard on the page that pops up and it should go away (at least until the
next time you have a problem).

NOTE: This is a dotnet group. The word general means general .NET questions,
not just any question about Microsoft software. I would search for the
Internet Explorer groups in the future, as you are more likely to get these
types of questions answered there.
