Hi All

This is a similar probem to Frankie's before me.

I use Outlook 2003 and have my mail format set to HTML, however, when I send
e-mails to people, it is automatically converting it to plain text, so any
symbols I have in my autosignature do not show properly, ie. the letter
symbol next to my e-mail address simply changes to a letter.

I have found the way around it - to change my settings from HTML to Rich
Text, however, this also changes the format of my mails. Now when I send an
e-mail with an attachment, it no longer puts it at the top of the mail,
underneath To, CC: etc, it puts the attachment icon in the actual e-mail,
like it used to with older versions, such as 97.

Any idea what's causing this and what can I do to stop it??

I want my autosignature to display properly but, there again, I also want my
e-mail attachments to display properly.

Help.........!!

Thank you.

Louise

Try this - let me know.
Found under "Change the message format to plain text, HTML, or Rich Text "

Change the format for all messages sent to a particular Internet recipient

Open the contact card for the person.
In the E-mail box, double-click the contact's e-mail address.
In the Internet Format list, select the format you want to use for messages
to this recipient.

I have opened one of my Contacts and have double-clicked on their address
which takes me through to the Properties dialog box, however, I cannot find
anything relating to 'Internet Format List'??

If I get this feature to work, presumably it is only for that one person
though?
