hp printer

I did a clean boot. Now my printer is gone. I have tried to reinstall it and
its said, print spooler is blocked. HELP

Security settings maybe the problem. Active x for downloading or scripts is
disabled. how do I fix that

You shouldn't need ActiveX involved at all to start the print spooler. You
should be logged on as the Administrator and have the relevant CD or
downloaded software for printer installation.
