Hello!

Problem with HP1100 multiple papper feed.
I want to replace the separation pad.

Does someone know how to disassembly this printer?

The problem is the two support(hp-part RB2-4018-000CN and
RB2-4019-000CN at left and right center bottom) holding the front- and
back cover together.

Is there a "must use" special tool for removing this two "supports" or
is it some other way to do it?

Hope someone can give me some hints /Hakan

There is a special tool available from HP for this, but I've found
that a flat bladed screwdriver works just as well and doesn't cost
$50.00. Just push the blade of the screw driver onto the middle lock
tab underneath the printer and rotate the the support leg away from
the printer. This should allow you to remove it. Make sure you don't
push on it too hard though, after all it is plastic.

Best regards
Frank

Thanks Frank!

Yes, it is plastic. That is way I hesitate, but it works just fine the
way you say. And after one work hour I have a nice "single
sheet"-printer again.

Many Thanks! / Håkan
