I'm trying to remove the battery from my HP 8250 Photosmart Printer,
and I've already been able to remove the top tilt panel, by sliding it
off of the two support tilt arms. Now, I'm trying to take the rest of
the plastic covering off. I got as far as trying to take the side off
by sliding a small screwdriver into those 6 slots that appear on
either end on top of the printer, but the part I can't figure out is
how to free up the rear and front parts of the grey plastic wrap
around trim. In other words, freeing up the grey plastic wrap in the
viscinity of the 6 slots wasn't a problem, although finding where to
free the trim where it wraps both around the front and rear of the
printer is a big problem.
Are there additional holes to free up these sections, or does the
section somehow slide to free them up?
Is there a disassembly diagram which would show these sections in more
close detail?
